Statutory Policies
We are committed to safeguarding our young people and at St Anne’s, we are partners in
‘Operation Encompass’, a scheme between local schools, colleges, health agencies and police. The purpose of Operation Encompass is to provide early reporting to schools about any domestic abuse incidents that occur outside of school hours, to which a young person attending our school may have witnessed. We will be able to use information that has been shared, in confidence, to ensure that the school is able to make provision for possible difficulties experienced by children or their families.
Equality Policies
At St Anne’s we aim to promote diversity and celebrate difference. We aim to be an inclusive school that promotes equality for all its pupils and staff. In creating the school’s equality policies, consideration has been given to the characteristics protected by the Equality Act 2010. These are: sex, ethnicity (including nationality or national origins), disability, sexual orientation, religion or belief¸ gender reassignment, pregnancy or maternity.
