Recovery Programme and Funding

In 2020-21, our school received £5,066 to support pupils through the Coronavirus (COVID-19) catch-up premium.

Below outlines how this will be used for the academic year 2021-22.

To close gaps in English and Maths

How catch up funding will be spent (including costings)

Employed a teaching assistant level 2 for extra afternoon hours to deliver intervention groups sessions.

1:1 and small group teaching via the National Tutoring programme (NTP) for years 3 to 6.

CPD for staff leading the intervention groups

How the impact of this will be measured

End of half term data will show children’s progress and gaps being closed.

End of year data will show gaps have been filled and narrowed.

Children will feel more confident.

To provide extra pastoral support for pupils

How catch up funding will be spent (including costings)

CPD for staff leading nurture groups (Lego, Art, Forest School).

Sports leader for lunchtimes.

How the impact of this will be measured

Children will be school ready.

Anxieties relieved (speaking to children).

Number of negative behaviour incidents reduced.
