Vision and Values

Mission Statement

At St. Anne’s, we aim to be a caring, Christian school, within the community, where everyone is respected and valued.

To be a school where all individuals are encouraged to build on their strengths and aspire to be the best they can.

Vision

Our vision has the promise by Jesus of ‘life in all its fullness’ at its heart.  At St Anne’s,
we believe:

  • in our children and each other,
  • we are uniquely created in the image of God,
  • we were made to be awesome,
  • that together we are family,
  • we were created to live in community,
  • in equipping the St Anne’s family to be the best we can be,
  • in our individual talents and abilities, and
  • we can make a difference.

Our Values

At St Anne’s CE Primary School the following core values underpin all that we do. They are reflected in the daily life of the school and our relationships with others.

  • Respect
  • Thankfulness
  • Hope
  • Forgiveness
  • Love
  • Faithfulness

House Groups

At our school, our House Groups play an important role in building a strong, caring and supportive community. Our houses — Loyalty, Bravery, Courage and Trust — are rooted in the Christian values we are taught through the Bible and live out every day.

These values guide how we treat one another and shape our school life:

Loyalty
“A friend loves at all times.” (Proverbs 17:17)
Loyalty reminds us to stand by one another, to be faithful friends and to support our school family.

Bravery
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid.” (Joshua 1:9)
Bravery encourages us to do what is right, even when it is difficult, and to make positive choices.

Courage
“The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid.” (Psalm 118:6)
Courage helps us face challenges with confidence, resilience and faith in God.

Trust
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart.” (Proverbs 3:5)
Trust teaches us honesty, respect and reliance on God and on one another.

Our House Groups are family-based, supporting our positive behaviour policy and strengthening our strong family ethos, where every child is known, valued and supported. Through our houses, children learn to live out these values each day and to let their light shine in our school and beyond.
